FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Clear answers about products, delivery, quality assurance and responsible quarrying.

Is Savana currently operating a quarry?+

Savana Mining & Aggregates is being developed. Until management confirms otherwise, the website does not claim active licensed operations, stock or delivery capability.

Can you guarantee that your material meets a specific project specification?+

Suitability is a technical decision that must be established against the project specification, testing and the responsible engineer's approval. We do not guarantee suitability without that evidence.

Is laterite a substitute for basalt?+

No. Material selection must follow the project specification and the advice or approval of the responsible engineer. Some local materials may be suitable for specific layers or applications once tested.

Do you deliver, or is it ex-quarry only?+

Both options are being planned. Quotations clearly identify whether the price is ex-quarry or delivered, and set out any loading, distance and access assumptions.

How are quantities measured?+

Quotations state the measurement basis — tonnes, cubic metres or truckloads — and dispatch documentation is intended to support traceable supply.

Can I get a technical data sheet?+

The technical library is in development. Product data sheets and evidence will be published as products complete approval.

How do I raise a community or environmental concern?+

Community members can contact us by telephone, WhatsApp, email or written submission. Enquiries are logged, assigned and responded to through a documented process.

How quickly will I hear back after submitting a quote request?+

We do not publish a fixed response-time promise until management has set and can monitor a service standard. We aim to respond as promptly as the enquiry allows.
